Carrie McChesney, Founder and CEO of Concept Green, LLC

Carrie McChesney is a passionate advocate for environmental responsibility and an expert at turning organizational “green” goals into sustainable reality. Carrie’s firm, Concept Green, helps large organizations develop credible sustainability programs, performance measures and communications.

Prior to founding Concept Green, Carrie served as environmental sustainability coordinator for an investor-owned utility and U.S. Climate Action Partnership founding member. Working in the public policy and corporate strategy business unit, Carrie managed corporate sustainability reporting, Dow Jones Sustainability Assessments, sustainability program development and key performance indicators for the parent company and subsidiary utilities.

Carrie has extensive training and experience in greenhouse gas accounting, commercial energy assessments, green building operations and maintenance practices and institutional recycling and asset recovery programs. Her environmental accounting skills (emissions, energy, water, materials and wastes), combined with her sustainable behaviors expertise make her an engaging thought leader and educator in the field of organizational sustainability and sustainability reporting.
